Francis McCarthy
RealtyU® is proud to announce that it has selected Francis McCarthy of Tri-State
Real Estate School in Conshohocken, PA as its featured educator for the third
quarter of 2006. This recognition is offered in light of the strong commitment
and solid effort put forth by Francis and all RealtyU® Educators on behalf
of their students and the RealtyU® Network.
Francis McCarthy has served as the Director of Tri-State Real Estate School
in Conshohocken, PA, for the past four years. He has been a Director of Education
for the past 18 years, with oversight responsibility for hiring, training and
management of real estate instructors and staff, monitoring of instructor performance,
promotion and registration of full course curriculum, scheduling, managing and
delivering over a thousand training courses every year.
McCarthy has also remained responsible for full curriculum development, implementation
and administration, handling transcripts and certificates of completion. He is
a state-appointed custodian of records, reporting to and following up with applicable
schools and state agencies. As an instructor, Francis delivers multiple courses
for Tri-State, including:
• National designation courses
• National level training courses
• Two-week “Quick Start” course for new licensees
• Advanced level course development for experienced licensees
• “Field Trainer” support course for new licensees
• Guest instructor courses for Boards of Realtors®
• State-mandated continuing education courses for Delaware

Francis’ Career Experience
Francis previously served as the Director of Education and Professional Development
for Prudential Fox & Roach for 12 years, where he was responsible for 3,500
licensees and 70 sales managers in Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey. He
conducted interviews with salesperson candidates, developed training and motivational
course curriculum, delivered all course content, and audited national level training
programs (PREA).
He also created and facilitated a three-week, intensive, hands–on training
curriculum for new licensees, as well as an 18-month intermediate level training
curriculum for experienced licensees. He also developed and maintained a six-month “Mentor
Support” curriculum for the success of new licensees, and increased the
expertise level of experienced licensees through continuing education courses.
Finally, he created and delivered special curriculums to adapt to changing legislation
and market trends.

Francis is a graduate of the University of Delaware, Newark, Delaware where
he earned his Criminal Justice – BSAS. He holds the following designations:
