Richard "Dick" Fryer

As a licensed real estate broker, Dick has been active in a wide array of activities in the real estate industry since receiving his MBA from Florida State University in 1971. Today he is President of IFREC Real Estate Schools, which he founded in 1983. It is Central Florida's oldest and largest privately owned real estate educational facility and a proud member of the RealtyU® Network of Schools. IFREC is the only Florida real estate school to have fulfilled the requirements to receive national accreditation from the Council on Certification and Accreditation.

IFREC is also one of the strongest supporters of the non-profit public benefit company, The Real Estate Apprentice Foundation. During 2004 they were the real estate school that helped the largest number of new licensed real estate agents to enroll for the Real Estate Apprentice national free grant program.

Dick has served as President of the Orlando Regional REALTOR® Association (ORRA). Over the years, he has participated with the Florida Real Estate Commission, serving on subcommittees and workshops. In 2002, Dick was named Educator of the Year by the Florida Association of REALTORS® (FAR) and currently serves on the National Advisory Council for RealtyU® and the Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council (REBAC). In 2004, Dick was named REALTOR® of the Year by ORRA (Orlando Regional Realtors Association). He is Past-President of REEA (Real Estate Educators Association), a national and international trade association of the most prestigious real estate educators. Additionally, he serves as both an FAR and NAR (National Association of REALTORS®) Director.

As a widely recognized guest speaker, Dick is actively sought to present audiences with the most current topics impacting today's real estate industry. He also appears as an expert witness in real estate litigation concerning the practice of real estate, Florida Statutes and the Rules and Regulations of the Florida Real Estate Commission (FREC).
