Aliso Viejo, CA, November 14, 2003 - Each
year, REBAC acknowledges the significant contributions of several outstanding
individuals and organizations for their support of buyer agency and REBAC. During
the National Association of Realtors annual convention in San Francisco last
week, REBAC made six new inductions. The list included Rita Santamaria, of Champions
School of Real Estate in Texas, a leading RealtyU®r Affiliate School, Ron
Henderson of Century 21 Properties in South Carolina, Sophie Sirpanlis of New
York, Gerald Stoffer of REMAX 200 Realty in Florida, the Georgia Association
of Realtorsr and the Pennsylvania Association of Realtorsr.
"The accomplishments of these people are a true testament to
their commitment," stated Janet Branton, Executive Director of REBAC. According
to Stefan Swanepoel, CEO of RealtyU®r and a REBAC Councilor, "the real estate
industry in general and buyer agency in particular is stronger because of the
dedication of these, as well as the previous, REBAC inductees."
During the last decade various RealtyU® schools such as Champions,
Polley Associates in Pennsylvania, Hugh Ryall Seminars in South Carolina and
Hogan School of Real Estate in Arizona have all played major roles in REBAC's
growth by educating tens of thousands of Realtorsr in the prestigious ABR (Accredited
Buyer's Representative) designation. REBAC has 42,000 members today, making it
the largest association of real estate professionals that focuses on representing
real estate buyers as well as the largest Society within National Association
of Realtorsr family.
"We are pleased to take this opportunity to acknowledge their
contributions and extend our heartfelt appreciation to them, as well as to the
many nominees," Branton concluded. |
