– Over the years, RealtyU® has honored a special person
or real estate school that has gone beyond the call of teaching.
This quarterly Educator
of the Quarter Award acknowledges the excellent service,
the willingness to share and help others and effort on behalf
of the industry. These individuals and schools have made the
real estate education industry proud of their effort. For the
4th Quarter of 2005 RealtyU® has awarded this honor to Rita
Santamaria and the Champions School of Real Estate, headquartered
in Houston, Texas with branches in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
The Champions School opened in 1983 and has never looked
back. Rita has kept Champions in the forefront of the real
estate education industry and is one of the flagships of the
RealtyU® network of schools and colleges. According to
Rita, “I opened Champions School to bring the total
learning experience to new licensees. The total experience
means, current information on what is happening in real estate
today, qualified instructors who love to teach, a learning
environment that says welcome, thank you for choosing our
school.”
The goals that Rita has set for Champions School are very
straightforward and focused: 1) To help you pass the state
exam successfully and 2) To get a “jump start”
in your new career of real estate or mortgage brokerage. This
focus has kept Champions School at the top of the list for
the past 22 years.

Group, “Rita is an extraordinary marketer and is always
exploring new ways to ensure that their students enjoy a wider
offering of better real estate courses every year. Her commitment
to the industry however does not stop there and goes way beyond
that and was reflected in her recent commitment to the victims
of the recent hurricanes by offering real estate education
to the former residents of Louisiana and Mississippi who relocated
to Texas at no charge.”
She was recently quoted in a news article as saying, “Some
of the people that have come through this school in this program
are: relocating police officers, nurses, firemen, relatives
of some real estate agents in the community, and all people
that deserve a new start in our beautiful city. I am offering
this FREE tuition program through the end of the year."
