| Real Estate Apprentice Winners Anticipate Award Celebration |
| POWER BROKER'S DINNER TO SPOTLIGHT SHEARER & WYATT |

ALISO VIEJO, CA., Oct. 12, 2005
- Kendra Shearer of Marietta, Georgia, and Katie Wyatt of Wichita,
Kansas, both Grand Prize Winners representing Seasons I and
II of the Real Estate Apprentice Grant Program will receive
special notoriety at the highly acclaimed Power Broker Dinner
scheduled for October 28th, 2005. This gala event is held on
the first day of the 4-day National Association of REALTORS®
Convention in San Francisco, California and has as a "whose-who
in real estate" black tie event been comprised of the industry's
most influential real estate leaders.
Recently, after winning Season II Grand Prize, Katie Wyatt was
honored by a proclamation from the Major of Wichita Kansas,
declaring September 1st, 2005 to be Real Estate Apprentice
Day. The Major and the City of Wichita Kansas, called
upon their citizens to "observe this day by supporting and promoting
professionalism in real estate education and in the real estate
industry, honoring all Wichita professional real estate women
and men for making a significant contribution to the real estate
industry and the local economy." Guests in attendance included
the owners of Career Education System, the RealtyU® real estate
school Katie attended, Directors representing the Wichita Local
Real Estate Board, premier Wichita real estate brokerage firms,
and Katie's own real estate colleagues, friends and family from
the city.
In more recent news, Katie signed a contract to join Keller Williams Realty of Wichita, Kansas beginning September 23, 2005. "Many other National Franchisors however also feature prominently amongst the Top 10 finalists with Coldwell Banker and Century 21 each having two of their rookies reach the finals and RE/MAX, Prudential and Weichert Realtors® each enjoying one in the final top 10" said Dr. Martin Oliver, Deputy Executive Director of the Foundation. According to Dr. Oliver "he was very pleased with the success of the program during Season III. Applications continue to come in on steady stream while the quality of the applicants continues to climb."
The Real Estate Apprentice Grant Program is open to all new
real estate students that are US or Canadian citizens or legal
residents that have taken or will be taking a real estate licensing
course or who became licensed as a new agent during the six
month grant season period (July 1st to December 30th 2005) or
90 days preceding this period. Applicants do not have to already
work for a real estate brokerage company and company affiliation
pays no role in the judging process. Interested persons can

Every six months inaugurates a new Season. The competition is
judged on the basis of answers to essay questions, which demonstrate:
Salesmanship and communication skills, entrepreneurial spirit,
integrity, creativity, and uniqueness. Every six months 12 leading
