Ron Oslin and Bill Whisnant
RealtyU is pleased to honor two of its leading educators by naming them co-educators of the quarter for the third quarter of 2008. Ron Oslin and Bill Whisnant are the owners of RealtyU Affiliate, Tennessee Real Estate Education System, Inc. (T.R.E.E.S.).
Ron has been a Tennessee Real Estate broker for over thirty years and in the mortgage business since 1965. He also holds an Appraiser Trainee License, Auctioneer Apprentice License and an Insurance License. In 2000 he received the prestigious "Bill Tune" award from the Tennessee Real Estate Commission as "Educator of the Year". Ron has authored several books on real estate and is a contributor to textbooks including Mortgage Financing Manual and Tennessee Real Estate Basics. He is a graduate of Virginia Tech, an Associate Member of the Chattanooga Association of Realtors, a member of REEA and REBAC. Ron is very active in Masonic & Shrine activities and is an Elder of the Second Presbyterian Church in Chattanooga.
Bill has a BS degree in Engineering and a MBA from Auburn University. He has been a real estate instructor for over 33 years and holds a Tennessee Real Estate Broker License. He is a member of Tennessee and Virginia Association of Realtors and a member of various local Realtor Associations as well as a member of REEA and REBAC. Bill has authored various real estate courses and articles including He is a member of Presbyterian Church PCA, member of Gideons, Salvation Army Advisory Council and Kenya Island Base Advisory Board.
Ron and Bill established TREES in 1975 and over the past 33 years have trained thousands of Tennessee’s agents and brokers at their permanent locations in Chattanooga, Knoxville, Jackson Sevierville, Tri Cities, Murfreesboro and Nashville. TREES is the largest and oldest real estate and appraisal school in Tennessee, offering real estate, appraisal and home inspection licensing and continuing education courses. The school also offers distance earning CE courses and auction CE courses. TREES became a member of the RealtyU family in 2003 had has been one of the company’s leading representatives ever since.
