RealtyU announced today that it has selected Richard Fryer, founder of IFREC Real Estate Schools in Orlando, Florida, as its Educator of the Quarter for the first quarter of 2009.  The award is presented to RealtyU educators that have contributed to the success of not only the RealtyU network but to the advancement of real estate education in their local area.

 

According to Stefan Swanepoel, Chairman of RealtyU, Inc., “Dick has been a key part of the RealtyU network since IFREC became one of the early members of RealtyU. We are very proud of what Dick has accomplished for the industry as well as his recent appointment to the Florida Real Estate Commission by Governor Crist.” 

Mr. Fryer founded IFREC in 1983 and it has become Central Florida’s oldest and largest privately owned real estate educational facility. He has served as President of the Orlando Regional REALTOR^® Association and was named its REALTOR^® of the year.  In leading the real estate education industry Mr. Fryer is also a past president of the Real Estate Educators Association (REEA), a national/international trade organization of real estate educators.   In addition, he along with IFREC Schools has been honored with induction into the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council’s (REBAC) hall of fame.
